She sits in a constant stare,
Wondering how she could change her life.
The many scars along her arms,
Telling so many stories.
She doesn\'t know where to begin,
To many tales to start with.
Her life nothing but a big lie,
Lie to the public eye.
She wishes to remain silent,
Yet it\'s hard to do what she does.
Sitting and watching her life go down the drain,
Knowing there is nothing she can do for herself.
She prays and hopes for something,
Something to come and take her away from her pain.
She keeps herself hidden in the shadows,
Shadows to hide the bruises and cuts.
There isn\'t a day that she doesn\'t have a new one,
One to add to the many others she keeps.
How could she prevent this,
She has no idea.
She lies in wait,
Hoping that one day someone will take her away.
She can see her life flashing before her eyes,
But there is nothing that she can do.
She can barely breathe,
Drowning in her own pain.
